Getting started with Momo

Start with five minutes

Choose five minutes and tap “Focus with Momo.” Your first five minutes of saved focus wake Momo in the egg. Breaks don't add to growth. If you finish early, the time you spent focusing still counts.

Choose another companion

Tap your companion's name at the top left of Home to see your friends. Finish your current focus and acknowledge its result, then choose the friend you want to focus with. Each friend keeps its own time and stories; flower seeds and the room are shared.

A collection you bought is missing?

In versions offering purchases, tap your companion's name on Home, open Purchases and choose Restore purchases. Use the same store account you bought it with. There is no need to buy Minty again.

Purchase restoration checks access to a collection. Focus time and growth are stored separately on your device and are not recovered through purchase restoration. Purchases do not transfer between stores.

Decorate with flower seeds

Earn one flower seed for every five minutes of saved focus. Short sessions add up across future sessions. Open Decorate to preview and apply rooms and furnishings. Previewing and cancelling don't spend seeds.

You can decorate while focusing. The timer keeps going while you browse; it stays paused during a break.

The Moonlit Study and four more furnishings unlock after two hours of saved focus. You can preview the complete room before earning its furnishings.

Widgets and completion alerts

iPhone

Touch and hold an empty part of your Home Screen, open the edit menu, add a widget, and find Tamamon Focus. Start, pause, or resume from the widget. Live Activities appear on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island according to your iPhone model and iOS settings.

Android

Open Widgets and alerts in the app, tap Add Momo to Home Screen, and confirm your phone's add-widget screen. You can also touch and hold an empty part of the Home Screen and find Tamamon Focus in Widgets. Tap the widget's illustration to return to the room in the app.

Not receiving alerts?

Enable completion alerts in Widgets and alerts. If you denied permission, allow it again in your phone's settings. On Android, battery settings may delay alerts without exact-alarm access. Focus time and growth are saved even with alerts off.
